Minimum system requirements:

   Pentium PC with 16 Mbytes RAM or more
   64000 color display mode or higher at 640x480 resolution
   Windows 95 and DirectX 3 or higher, or
   Windows 98, or
   Windows ME, or
   Windows NT4 (Service Pack 3) or higher, or
   Windows 2000, or
   Windows XP
   (no support for Windows Vista or Windows 7 yet)

   Windows 95 and DirectX 5 or higher, or

   (no support for Windows Vista or Windows 7 yet)

Close Approach does not currently work on Windows Vista or Windows 7, however we will be releasing a new compatible version later in 2010.

Close Approach has been successfully tested on 3D cards based on the following 3D chips:

If you have a different card, it is recommended that you try out the free demo version before purchasing the game.
On the very rare occasion when the game does not work with a particular 3D card, you can always run the game in 3D software mode.

If you do not have DirectX, the Microsoft DirectX installation can be found on most PC magazine cover CDs, and can also be downloaded from Microsoft's web page.
